The Follow-Me Rack Server allows you to easily integrate the Follow-Me system into your network. The Follow-Me Rack Server is a robust and secure solution that is optimised for use with Follow-Me 3D and is delivered ready for you to authorise with your TWO or SIX system license code.
Alongside the macOS platform the FM Rack Server is ready equipped with all connectors to insure smooth integration with the other hardware components of your Follow-Me System, incl. HDMI and SDI to receive the live camera feed into Follow-Me and Ethercon to integrate Follow-Me in your lighting infrastructure.
The 19” enclosure is 1U high and 8.25-inch deep, making it perfect for use in a wide range of popular racks and rackcases. A convenient front panel power button turns the system on and off. Two USB 3.0 ports on the front of the rack server enables connection of a keyboard and mouse. The rack server directs cool air in a one-way path through front panel openings to the computers’ air intakes, and then out the back, to keep the system operating reliably.
The front panel power button enables operation of the computer’s rear-mounted power switch, while a USB 3.0 ports enables connection of a USB device to the computer. Connect the rack server to a monitor and a PoE switch and you’re good to run Follow-Me 3D!
Follow-Me Rack Server connectors
The Follow-Me Rack Server consists of the following components and connectors:
- 1x macOS system with the latest version of Follow-Me 3D + drivers installed
- 1x Ethercon connector
- 1x SDI IN
- 1X HDMI IN
- 2x HDMI OUT
- 2x USB connector front
To get started with your Follow-Me System, connect the Follow-Me Camera Set and relevant number of Follow-Me Console Sets. Connect the Follow-Me Rack Server to a monitor and a PoE switch and you are good to go.
