The Follow-Me Rack server allows you to easily integrate Follow-Me in your server rack. The Follow-Me rack server is a robust and secure solution that includes a Mac mini with Follow-Me 3D installed on it. A Follow-Me serial adapter and all connectors required for Follow-Me are also integrated, incl. HDMI and SDI to receive the camera feed into Follow-Me and Ethercon to integrate Follow-Me in your lighting infrastructure.
The enclosure is only 1U tall and 18 inches deep, making it perfect for use in a wide range of popular racks and rack cases. A convenient front panel power button turns the Mac Mini on and off. It also includes temperature control fans to prevent the Mac Mini from overheating. A USB 3.0 port on the front of the rack server enables the connection of keyboard and mouse to the Mac Mini. The rack enclosure provides strategic airflow cooling for the included Mac Mini.
Connect the rack server to a monitor and a PoE switch and you’re good to go!
Rackserver components and connectors
The Follow-Me Rack server consists of the following components and connectors:
- 1x Mac Mini with the latest version of Follow-Me installed
- 1x Follow-Me Serial Adapter
- 1x Ethercon connector
- 1x SDI IN
- 1X HDMI IN
- 2x HDMI OUT
- 2x USB connector (1 front; 1 back)
- 1x Power cable
To get started with Follow-Me, all you will still need is the external Follow-Me Camera Set and one or more Follow-Me Mouse Consoles. An included Mini Recorder provides the camera feed right into the software, whilst the Follow-Me Serial Adapter is included to be able to adjust camera settings within Follow-Me. Connect the rack server to a monitor and a PoE switch and you are good to go.
